#qotd : What is that one quality you’d long in your partner for a healthy relationship?
Firstly thank you so much Himanshu Rai for the review copy of this beautiful book which literally made me cry. Trishita you were right about the emotion of the book.
Blurb: The story revolves around Rohan, a telecom engineer who is in love with his dear classmate Vaidehi ( beautiful name for the character). He had loved Navya from school but was mesmerized by Vaidehi when they met at Jabalpur at college. They were sharing a beautiful relationship with each other and were very much in love. One fine day she suddenly distanced herself from him and stopped talking. That day he felt like he had lost her smile, her friendship and her voice but believed her to be his mute girlfriend in his heart of hearts.
He then gets posted at Meerut as a telecom professional. Everyday as a scheduled routine he misses her and wonders what was the reason behind her distancing from himself. Despite always standing beside him in no matter what situations she remained his mute girlfriend (though she couldn’t distance himself from his eyes and her eyes reflected love immensely.)
One fine day after five long years he receives a SMS from her but before he could reply his phone gets damaged and he roams in his memories to narrate a tale to the readers. Next you’ve to read the story to find out whether she genuinely loved him or was it just a phase that they both were passing through.
1️⃣ If you’ve ever loved someone especially unrequited you’ll miss that person.
2️⃣ Apart from some really cheesy parts I loved the book as whole. Some love stories are beautifully incomplete.
3️⃣ The power which assumption plays in destroying relationships plays a vital role.
4️⃣ Thumbs down for the cover which I think could have been a bit more catchy and appealing.
