The Journey

Blurb

Each and every human being on this planet wants to find out the Truth behind everything. But the majority of them fail to do so, as they get threatened by their ego, self esteem. The book describes Heaven as an update of Hell. Everybody living here are as if waging a war to become successful, to become enlighted. But none of them follows the true way, the preachings by the Almighty. So, to actually become successful in life, one should remain selfless and should have faith on God.

Review

The book is written in a philosophical point of view having teachings from Gurbani, Guru Granth Sahib and poetries by Kabir Das. Divided into six chapters, the book is kind of self help. It gives inspiration to search for real soul, the truth and the ultimate destiny of one’s life. The book covers several philosophical topics of self realisation, the black side of human nature; ego, greed, lust, selfishness etc.

Out of the chapters ” The Fallen One “, ” The War: Dark and Light “, ” Who Am I “, ” Death: The Biggest Lie “, ” The Selfless Warrior “, i liked ” The Fallen One ” the most, which talks about the very entity responsible for challenging virtues in an individual.

The author did a fantastic job in teaching his readers the lessons of Gurbani and Guru Granth Sahib.
Overall, a very good read.
